The Turning Inward Immersion is a six-day private experience in Ubud, Bali, designed exclusively for those who have been working with me individually. Over the course of our days together, we will go deeper than a single session allows: into the body, the story, the patterns, the longing, the unlived life, and into the practices, presence, and sacred ceremonial space that can help move it all.
This is for those who know something real is happening in them and are ready to give it time, space, and depth.
Each day includes one-to-one time with me, drawing from the contemplative traditions that inform my work: Buddhist psychology, Vedic and yogic frameworks, classical Tantra, and somatic and pranic approaches to what lives in the body. We will talk. We will go quiet. We will work with what surfaces through conversation, through breath, through hands-on energy work, through integration practices suited to what is alive in you right now.
One day, mid-immersion, is given over to sacred ceremony at a Balinese water temple. The traditional melukat ritual, a purification bathing in holy spring water, arrives at exactly the right moment in the arc of our work together. This is not a day trip. It is a central event.
Another session during the immersion will be with a secondary facilitator, someone whose work I know and trust, and whose particular gifts I will select based on what I feel will most serve you at this stage in your process. Part of what I love about offering this kind of concentrated work is the opportunity to introduce you to other talented practitioners in Ubud, and to invite in approaches that reach parts of you that our work together may not touch. I can tend to the whole picture, and bring in exactly what is needed.
This is a mini immersion, not a marathon. The mornings are full and concentrated. The afternoons are yours.
This is intentional. Transformation needs room to breathe. The insights and openings that arise in a session need unscheduled time to settle. To become something you actually carry, rather than something that happened to you. Ubud is a gift for this. You might walk the rice fields, sit quietly in a café with your journal, or do nothing at all. That too is part of the work.
Because the immersion runs during the week, you will also be invited to join the classes I teach at The Yoga Barn. These are a natural extension of our work together, and a chance to experience the teachings in a group setting.
There are no tourist excursions built into the program. The afternoons are not designed to fill time or entertain. They are designed to let what surfaced in the morning continue moving through you. This rhythm is why it's a mini immersion and not a retreat: the depth is real, and so is the spaciousness.
Days 1–2: Opening & Grounding We open and ground. Sessions with me establish the container, revisit what you carry, and orient the arc of the immersion around what is most alive in you now.
Day 3: The Complementary Session A session with a practitioner I have chosen for you, whose work will add a dimension to what we are building together.
Day 4: Tirta — The Water Temple We travel together to a sacred Balinese site for melukat, the purification ceremony. Ancient, simple, profound.
Day 5: Integration & Deepening We return to the personal: hands-on energy work, psychospiritual counsel, and time for what the waters brought to the surface.
Day 6: Closing A final session to close the container with intention, anchoring what has shifted and preparing you to carry this work back into your life.
The general schedule is subject to change and will be shaped around your unique process and what wants to move.
The Turning Inward Immersion is not an introduction to this work. It is an acceleration of work already underway. To join me for an immersion, you will have had a minimum of 4 to 6 individual sessions with me prior to arriving in Ubud. This isn't a formal requirement so much as a recognition of what makes this kind of depth possible: we already know each other. The ground has already been prepared. This is for you if:
You have been working with me and feel the pull to go deeper, in a way that one session at a time can't quite reach
You are drawn to the meeting place of psychospiritual inquiry, embodied practice, and sacred ceremony
You want more than a wellness holiday
You want real contact with what is alive and unresolved in you
You are ready to be held in a concentrated field of attention and transformation
You trust that Bali itself is part of the medicine
The Turning Inward Immersion is offered privately, to those who have been working with me individually. If you have been in sessions with me and feel this is calling you, I invite you to reach out. We'll talk about where you are, whether the timing is right, and what this immersion might look like for you specifically.
A minimum of three individual sessions together is required before we begin. If we haven't yet worked together, or if you're just getting started, those sessions can be scheduled in advance of your arrival. This gives us the foundation we need, so that when day one comes, we can dive right in.
Bali gives so much, directly and indirectly, through its land, its culture, its ceremonies, its people, and the invisible field of something ancient that is still very much alive here. I have received more from this island than I can easily name.
The island itself is part of the medicine and a reciprocal relationship with this island matters to me. With each immersion, $100 will be donated to a local Balinese organization, chosen in the spirit of what feels most aligned at the time. It is a small and intentional act of giving back to the place that gives so much. I will be happy to share with you where the money goes for your particular immersion.
